ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT

I- IDEA ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHP PROGRAM: THE PARTICIPANT wishes to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree or to improve English proficiency through ESL courses at a college/university in the United States. IDEA has relationships and signed working agreements with colleges and universities in the US with the purpose of facilitating admissions process and obtaining scholarships on behalf of international students such as the participant.

II- IDEA ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM COST: please indicate your enrollment option:

Premium Application: cost of $ 750 (seven hundred and fitty Dollars) include universities report listing confirmed admission decisions & scholarship information; includes two (2) universities with a value to be paid by THE PARTICIPANT equal to or less than USD $13,500 (thirteen thousand five hundred American Dollars) per academic year including housing, meals, and studies; and three (3) universities with a value to be paid by THE PARTICIPANT equal to or less than USD $15,500 (Fifteen thousand five hundred American Dollars) per academic year including housing, meals, and studies.

Basic Application: cost of $250 (two hundred and fifty Dollars) include universities report listing confirmed admission decisions & scholarship information including cost of housing, meals, and studies.

Optional Support & Assistance: cost of $550 (five hundred and fifty Dollars) include guidance through our admissions staff in order to complete enrollment process at the selected university and student visa application process.

III – IDEA is committed to deliver the university report listing confirmed admission decisions & scholarship information in up to 20 days from processing student enrollment. Scholarship funds can be originated from multiple sources such as academics, athletics, work & study or others.

IV- ZERO FINANCIAL RISK POLICY - REFUND: If IDEA is unable to deliver a university report, IDEA will refund all amounts paid by the participant and this contract will be terminated without any responsibility for any of the parties.

V- IDEA SCHOLARSHIP REPORT: IDEA university report will be notified via e-mail to THE PARTICIPANT.

VI- IDEA SCHOLARSHIP ACCEPTANCE FORM: the participant must email IDEA the complete “Scholarship Acceptance Form” indicating college/university selection in order to move forward with the admission process.

VII- COLLEGE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:the participant must provide to the selected university or to IDEA ,in case of choosing the Optional Support & Assistance option (at an optional cost of $550), all documents requested by the university. Listed sample in Appendix A. Visa applications are personal, IDEA is not responsible for visa approval or petitions.

VIII- PASSPORT AND VISA: the participant is responsible for obtaining a passport and/or all other necessary documentation to exit their country of origin and enter the United States of America.

IX- ADMISSION RIGHTS:If IDEA determines to terminate this contract, IDEA will refund 100% of any amounts already paid by the participant, without any other responsibility.

X- ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF UNDERSTANDING: Participant and Parent/Guardian have read this agreement and agree to participate as they fully understand the terms. In signing this Agreement each acknowledges that he/she is consenting to the Participant’s participation in the IDEA Academic program.

APPENDIX A - Documents to be presented by THE PARTICIPANT:

  • Complete Program admissions application..
  • IDEA counseling interview.
  • Resume indicating academic and extra-curricular activities (athletics, arts, or others).
  • High School transcript (original or certified copy) translated into English..
  • High School grade average (per year and cumulative) translated into English.
  • Official ACT/SAT or TOEFL test are NOT a requirement to participate in the IDEA Program or to access the IDEA university report. Your university report will indicate each university testing requirements.
  • Two letter of recommendation from High School or College (for whom is transferring college hours).
  • Personal essay including the following topics (maximum of two pages):
    1. Why do I feel I deserve a scholarship?
    2. What are my objectives in the USA?
    3. What are my plans after completing my education?

If transferring college or university courses: College transcript of courses taken and passed, translated into English (class programs may be requested). Once the amount of scholarship is established: Present proof of financial means (bank statement of similar) to study in the USA for one academic year. This document is necessary for obtaining the F1 student’s VISA.
